Pizzeria and country cooking

The restaurant in the Val d’Orcia

Wood-fired pizza and home cooking, with what is born in our fields: a country table where every ingredient has a name and an origin.

Our farm restaurant is the perfect place to eat during a visit to the Val d’Orcia: after a Brunello tasting in Montalcino, a walk on the Via Francigena or a day cycling the white roads of the Crete Senesi. Pizza made to order, hand-rolled pasta, spelt and legume soups, vegetables from the garden and oil from our olive groves.

The pizzeria

Wood-fired pizza with our own flours

Long-leavened doughs with the flours of our ancient grains, stone-milled, toppings from the garden and local products: pizza made on the spot, tasty and easy to digest, baked in the wood-fired oven. It is one of the things our guests love most.

Getting here

How far we are from the villages

We are out in the countryside, not in a town centre: people drive here from all over the valley, usually after a winery visit or a day of sightseeing. These are the distances:

Vergelle · 2 km
Torrenieri · 3 km
San Giovanni d’Asso · 6 km
Montalcino · 11 km
Buonconvento · 12 km
Bagno Vignoni · 17 km
Trequanda · 18 km
San Quirico d’Orcia · 18 km
Asciano · 20 km
Pienza · 20 km
Montepulciano · 30 km
Siena · 40 km

Eleven kilometres from Montalcino means about twenty minutes of curves. Why eating outside town often works better.
