An open-air classroom where children learn where things come from: bread, eggs, vegetables, animals, the seasons.
Our educational farm welcomes schools, groups and families with programmes designed for every age. You touch the animals, harvest in the garden, knead bread and pizza, and discover how what we eat is born — guided by those who live the land every day.
The donkeys and animals of the estate are at the centre of our donkey-therapy and assisted activities: gentle, relational moments that help children find calm, confidence and contact with nature.

We welcome school groups from across the Val d’Orcia and the Crete Senesi. Distances from Podere Olivello, for planning the coach:
From Siena and Asciano you can be here within the morning; from Montepulciano it is worth starting early and staying for lunch.
Every Saturday and Sunday morning at 10:30 there is a guided visit of the farm: a walk around the estate, the animals to see and get close to, the vegetable garden and the fields. It lasts as long as it needs to, at the pace of whoever is there — children included.
Children under 3 take part accompanied by an adult. From 3 years up they can join on their own, looked after by one of our educational farm staff.
